What passives work? It is classified as 'projectile' and 'attack' I get that projectile dps passives work. I assume that 'increase melee physical damage' passives do NOT work because it is not melee. What about: 'increased physical damage with __xyz__ melee weapons'? Increased Projectile dmg nodes will add to damage. Depending on the weapon damage type, increased physical damage and elemental dmg will add to dmg. Increased Melee Physical damage will not work. Increased projectile speed will work. Increase attack speed will work. Increase casting speed will not work. Boosting the damage of the weapon type works. ' Scion is not forced to use spectral throw. There's projectile damage nodes by Duelist and shadow, but there starting spell is double strike and cleave. There's spell damage nodes by Ranger but there starting spell is burning arrow. Scion can get Cleave as 1st gem choice, and Heavy strike or sweep as 2nd Gem choice. The fracking gem is not intuitive at all.shit a lot of gems aren't. Take fire trap for example.. fire fire fire..right? well not exactly. I told that awesome story to say with the approach that they took.gating her so people would learn more..then hell why not connect her up with what works with the skill she arises from the brink of death.. Nov 27, 2018 Boss dmg or Melee/Range Dmg. Mac password cracker. So I am a melee class and I have a decent roll on melee dmg. 5.0 melee dmg would 5.0 boss dmg be better and if so why? Just wondering. So once you reach cap of 16.6% physical piercing to entirely nullify chaos raid boss resistance, you don’t benefit from any extra. Let’s now take a look at overall scaling. The point I asserted earlier is that% damage increases are more and more effective the more pierce and physical piercing (up to cap) you have.
